STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963. We band together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordiances of the church are Baptism and the Lord's Supply.

A global pandemic has this world in it's grip. Seems everything has come to a halt. Jobs, economy, education, favorite pastimes, church fellowship and so on. We believers should not be surprised. All through history the world has faced plagues, famines, economic depression and calamities which forces man to take stock of his life. His strengths and weaknesses. Choosing where he will put his trust. Has fear got you wringing your hands and filling your head with all kind of worries? Why? We believers are in God's hands. He is our refuge and our strength. He is an Encourager:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9). God is also a Disciplinarian.
“Your iniquities have become a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that He does not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2)
( Proverbs 21:30) There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.
Every time the nation of Israel disobeyed God, He first gave warnings through His prophets, then judgement would come.
Do not fear, we stand on the promises of God. He is our Father who cares and wants the best for His children.
23 Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. 24 You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. 26 My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. (Psalm 73:23-26)

For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. “I am the LORD,” he says, “and there is no other

Who would have ever predicted the insanity of COVID 19 that brought in March? The devastation is real for those who have lost loved one to the disease. The thousands of people around the United States who have contracted the disease are, in many cases, still suffering. The economic impact continues to unfold, even with anticipation of the relief checks on the horizon.
BUT GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! …
… is still in control. He was not, is not, will not be, surprised by any of these events. We must trust Him and believe that somehow this for our good and His glory, even if we don’t know the somehow. God has not left us, and He promises He will always be with us. Hebrews 13:5 says, “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” I pray this is encouraging and comforting to you in this unprecedented time in human history.
